Well today marks the first day of the rest of my life.
Boy how many times have you heard yourself say that line before??
Well a little about me, I am a single mother of 2 beautiful boys (7 years old and 9 years old), so I am a full time mother, and full time worker as well. Oh the biker babe part comes from me riding motorcycles!
Basically my reasoning to start this is to hopefully help people in the same boat as me become motivated, and heck..maybe help motivate me as well.
I am 31 years old and weighing in at 288 lbs. 5'8". According to the scales I am 51% body fat. My goal by March 2012 is to be down to at least 220 lbs. Thats my "first goal"
In the beggining of the year I started with a local bootcamp (with a friend of course *waves to Tee*) from Feb. until May losing around 42 lbs. Well folks I gained about half of that back. I wish I would have kept it as a life style change.
So I decided to go back. the fitness camp. I paid for 2 month, unlimitied workouts. Lets see how this goes.
Tee and I are actually doing a personal challege right now. She is going to diet and work out the next 30 days on her own, and if she loses more weight then I do (which she normally does lol) She will continue doing it her way, if not she will rejoin the bootcamp with me.
On todays menu:
Breakfast:
Kashi Cereal
Yogurt
Bananna
Water
1st Snack:
Carrots and Celery plain almonds
Water
Lunch:
My "fake" fried rice creation (inspired by my friend Michelle)
Brown rice
peas
shrimp
scallops
fried egg
mushrooms
cooked in Smart Balanced Butter and Mrs. Dash table blend
and a side salad
Water
Snack:
Kiwi and pomagranites
Water
Dinner:
Left over rice creation
side salad
Water
(lots of water at least 100 oz)
I also take a womans one a day multi-vitamin in the morning and 2 capsules of flaxseed oil with every meal
Well its's 10:20 am EST here in Ohio so this is the PLAN so far.
I am working until 5:15PM so tonight bootcamp class is at 7:00PM thank goodness its around the corner from my house!
